Here Is The Computer Imaging of the Pictures to be Framed

I have just received the images that the Printer/Framer has scanned, Giclée, for me. These is how they will looked mounted and framed.

Talking business, and placing  Ars gratia artis to one side.

I was pleased with the price ... but ... even more pleased when he gave me a 35% discount ...

    1. Thank you Linda - not much gets past your eagle-eye ...yes 2 mats, the moulding is a lot cleverer than it looks here. It's a antique black with a deep channel.

    1. Thanks Celeste, Believe it or not ...I'm not really interested in the money for money's sake. I am not a gambler but it wasn't worth playing cards down the back of an aircraft if money wasn't involved. ...if that makes sense to you? :0)

  12. These are masterful! They look great in the frames as well. I had dropped over here, once or twice - I am not sure if I had commented. In addition to the amazing detail and the skilled pen and ink work, I very much like the compositions, especially of the Entrance to Poet's Corner, the Shambles (Harry Potter-ish it seems from this side of the pond), and the Moorish Archway.

    1. Hello Dan, nice of you to drop in.

Seen you about on other blogs, and I had meant to look you up... now I will :0)

It's peculiar how Poets' Corner & The Shambles evoke images of Mr Potter, whilst my scene of Lacock, where much of the HP filming was done, does not

  22. I so love your work, John. I love architectural renderings of any type but your exquisite attention to detail makes me imagine these buildings back when they were originally completed, how they were used, the people of the time...

    1. What a nice comment. I think the buildings are far more important and interesting than my drawings could ever be.
